As January draws to a close and February begins, I'm finally sharing my spiritual goals for 2024. Though it took me a while to put this content together, I believe it's never too late to set intentions for personal growth. Reflecting on the past month, I've gained insights into how my spiritual journey has unfolded so far. January wasn't the strongest start, and I didn't dive into my goals as deeply as I had hoped. However, this serves as a refresher, motivating me to fully commit to my aspirations.
Without further ado, let's delve into my five goals for 2024:
1. Praying Regularly:
My first goal is to establish a consistent daily prayer routine. While I began praying more frequently in 2023, I realized it wasn't enough. This year, I aim to go beyond sporadic prayers and make it a daily practice. In January, I've already noticed improvements in my commitment to prayer, focusing on authenticity rather than strict tracking.
2. Daily Devotionals:
Next on my list is completing a daily devotional book that has been on my shelf for years. Finishing this book will pave the way for exploring another daily devotional, enriching my connection with spirituality and the Word.
3. Reading the Entire Bible:
Despite starting this goal last year, I only made it to Genesis 20. This year, my objective is to progress further or ideally complete the entire Bible. Recognizing the challenges and occasional lack of motivation, I'm determined to stay on track and, at the very least, make significant headway.
4. Focusing on Different Walks:
My fourth goal revolves around nurturing my spiritual brand, "Different Walks," which delves into the diverse paths people take in Christianity. Recognizing that no one's journey is identical, I want to focus on evaluating various aspects of Christian life and sharing insights.
5. Connecting within a Christian Community:
Lastly, I aspire to expand my connections within a Christian community. While my church is an essential part of my spiritual life, I want to broaden my network, fostering accountability and support with a diverse group of Christian friends.
