I took a break for January and didn't post a Monthly reset. Now I am back and with a new and improved Monthly reset. I will be reflectiong on january, analyze finances, and setup for February. I want to start this reset by saying that it has been a great month. I have enjoyed the days in January and I could offical say that it has been a sucessful year. Now it is time for a recap.
Let's start with our Reflection for February 2025
I started 2025 outside looking at the stars. Seeing the flashes of light and create flashes myself. I am almost ashamed to say that I had never lit fireworks. This year with I had my families with me and we had fun taking pictures and enjoy the new year. If you would love to watch my Monthly reset video on youtube. Below you will find my February 2025 Reset Video
Wins: Celebrating the Accomplishments

January has been an incredible month for me. I’ve been actively invested in my brand—posting consistently and really thinking about the type of content I want to share. Compared to last January, I’m in a much better place mentally, emotionally, and creatively. I kicked off the New Year with fireworks, surrounded by my family, genuinely excited about the possibilities ahead.
Some personal wins? I’ve been sticking to my self-care goals, prioritizing a stress-free lifestyle, and making time for things that bring me joy—like visiting the beach and parks. Seeing my progress at the end of the month reassures me that I’m moving in the right direction.
Challenges: Learning from the Struggles

Of course, no month is without its challenges. One of my biggest goals was to complete nine short films in January, but I only managed to finish four. While that’s still progress, the process was rough, and I know I need to streamline my workflow to stay consistent.
Another challenge was my reading goal—I had planned to finish my first book of the year by February, but I’m running behind. It took me longer than expected to really get into it, but I’m confident I’ll wrap it up in the first week of February. Adjustments are part of the journey, and I’m giving myself grace while still pushing forward.
Highlights: The Best Moments
The fireworks on New Year’s Eve were a standout moment—starting the year with joy, excitement, and zero negativity set the perfect tone for 2024. Another highlight? Checking off goals from my list. Every time I complete something, it’s a reminder that I’m capable of following through, and that feeling fuels my motivation for the months ahead.
Budget Overview: Balancing Income & Expenses

I don’t typically share exact numbers, but I will say that my income and expenses were pretty much neck and neck this month. Not ideal, but understandable—January is always a bounce-back period after the holiday season. The good news? My income was still slightly higher than my expenses, so I’m not too worried about it.
Savings: Progress & Plans
With my expenses being so close to my income, I wasn’t able to put as much into savings as I’d like. Moving forward, I want to be more intentional about setting aside a percentage of my income for savings rather than just saving whatever is left over. A plan for this is definitely in the works.
Goal Setting for February
Main Goals:
Refining My Short Film Workflow: I need a better system for filming, storing, and editing my videos so I can post consistently without unnecessary delays.
Optimizing Video Storage & Exporting:My video files range from 1-3GB, which makes editing and exporting a time-consuming process. Finding a more efficient way to manage this is a top priority.
Embracing Flexibility: Instead of stressing over perfection, I want to continue the momentum from January and allow myself to go with the flow while still making progress.
Actionable Steps:
Research and test different video compression techniques.
Create a structured filming and editing schedule.
Establish a backup storage system to keep my workflow smooth.
Focus Areas:
Health: Keep up with self-care and stress management.
Career & Creativity: Stay consistent with content creation while finding ways to improve efficiency.
Personal Development: Continue pushing myself to achieve goals without self-imposed pressure.
Organizing & Planning
Decluttering: This month, I’ll focus on organizing my space—both physically and digitally. That means clearing out unnecessary files, reorganizing my storage, and making my workspace more functional.
Calendar Planning: Scheduling events, deadlines, and appointments so that everything flows smoothly.
To-Do List: Creating a master list to keep track of my priorities for the month.
Personal Growth & Self-Care
Health Focus: Finding enjoyable workouts and sticking to a meal prep plan.
Self-Care: Making sure I take time to recharge—whether that’s a beach day, journaling, or simply resting.
Learning: Finishing my current book and looking into courses that align with my goals.
Seasonal Fun & Joy
Activities: Planning intentional outings—whether it’s a nature walk, a solo brunch, or exploring a new place.
Treats: Allowing myself little indulgences (because balance is key!).
Social Connections: Making time for meaningful conversations and check-ins with loved ones.
Content & Brand Reset
Content Calendar: Outlining key topics and ideas for my blog, podcast, and video content.
Progress Check: Reviewing my goals and adjusting where necessary.
Creative Brainstorming: Jotting down fresh content ideas and exploring new directions.
Inspirational Moment
Quote of the Month:
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

Matthew 7:1 - ‘Judge not, that ye be not judged.’
A new month is here, and I’m ready to embrace it with intention, flexibility, and motivation. Here’s to making February just as productive and fulfilling as January!
